After a long and arduous journey, Halsey has officially released their new song, ‘So Good’, after the track was held hostage by their label.

In May, Halsey took to TikTok to share their frustration with their record label, Capitol Records, after they told the artist to ‘fake a viral moment’ before they gave a release date on the new single. In the caption Halsey pleaded their case saying, “ive been in this industry for 8 years and ive sold over 165 million records…i deserve better tbh”.

In the aftermath of the rant and incredible pressures from fans, the label conceded and scheduled the release of ‘So Good’ for June 9, 2022!

The Max Martin-produced track garnered incredible reception from fans and artists alike. In a since-deleted video, FKA Twigs validated Halsey’s claim saying “it’s true all record labels ask for are TikToks”.

Though it’s been nearly a month in the making, Halsey’s first release since ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’, lives up to the hype and is an infectious pop song sure to make waves all over Asia!
