After the recent release of his fifth studio album Dawn FM, The Weeknd has shared the Alternate Version, which includes 2 new remixes from Swedish House Mafia of Take My Breath and Agents of Time and their collaborative effort Moth To A Flame. Dawn FM arrived on streaming platforms on January 7th after the announcement of its release a week prior by The Weeknd himself.

Executive produced by pop powerhouse Max Martin and narrated by his real-life next-door neighbour Jim Carey– Dawn FM tunes you into a post life radio channel and takes us – the listener, on a journey through purgatory. The new record has received critical acclaim for its concepts and cohesiveness and leans in the lane of The Weekends earlier work before rising to pop stardom.

The albums concept integrates into the artwork and visuals of The Weeknd staged as an old man, who has fought his battles and is now on his way to his final resting place, intense we know. Besides appearances from Jim Carrey, the project also features a verse from Tyler The Creator and Lil Wayne, as well as a spoken-word piece by Quincy Jones.

Although Dawn FM isn’t host to a bundle of commercially viable hits like Starboy and After Hours, the presence of heavy hitting synths and four-to-the-floor dance beats brings an amazing listening experience from an artists who has delivered his best work yet.
